Of Salah Jaheen was een Egyptische artiest, dichter en cartoonist en stond bekend om zijn “revolutionaire gedichten”. Hij is nog altijd één van de meest bekendste Arabische dichters ter wereld. Jahin werd in 1930 geboren als Mohammad Salah Eldin Bahgat Helmy en werd bekend met de volgende regels:
